The Director of Client Services primary objective is to create value within their designated client base.  This includes developing account strategies, goals and corrective action plans and driving the execution thereof.  The director identifies new product and service concepts and works to align offerings with the client’s goals and needs.  Directs, develops and guides the client services management team.  This is a pivotal role that combines product marketing, business development and client services.

Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience; MBA or Master’s degree in related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Account Management experience with progressive management or supervisory responsibilities; Previous customer service experience in the automotive industry a plus
  • Role combines product marketing, business development and account management
  • Numerous client-facing opportunities from business development to performance management to account reviews
  • Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • 40%-50% travel, ability to work flexible hours and weekends
